Ambassador Kawar Participates In RHAS Fundraiser in Los Angeles, CA

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 15, 2017)- A fundraiser to promote the Royal Health Awareness Society(RHAS), an initiative founded by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, was attended this weekend by Ambassador Dina Kawar in Los Angeles, California. The event, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Khalid Fakhoury on behalf of the Jordanian American Club of Southern California(JACC) in collaboration with the American Friends of Royal Health Awareness Society, brought together distinguished members of the Jordanian community in the Los Angeles area.
In her remarks, Ambassador Kawar highlighted the important work of RHAS and its role in public health and safety awareness in Jordan.  She also reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment and efforts to enhance relations between the Jordanian community in the United States and their homeland.
The American Friends of Royal Health Awareness Society (AFRHAS) is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing the state of health awareness among the youth and local communities in Jordan.  In partnership with the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS), AFRHAS provides financial assistance through fundraising, and technical assistance based on the collection of best practices.
