Addressing the BETD crowd, Zawati said Jordan is witnessing key changes in the renewable energy and economizing energy use fields, noting the Kingdom began storing energy.

Renewable energy's share of the energy sector has gone up from 1 percent in 2012 to 10 percent this year, she added, citing legislation, political resolve, the government's commitment, and the strategic goals that aim to increase reliance on renewable energy sources.
