Jordan promotes joint Arab cooperation, FM

AMMAN -- Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi said Tuesday that Jordan has been a staunch supporter of joint Arab action and an enhanced role by the Arab League.
Safadi, who spoke at a meeting in Cairo with Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, said Jordan had maintained constructive and effective cooperation with the Arab League.
Aboul-Gheit commended efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah to serve pan-Arab causes, namely the Palestinian issue, highlighting the Kingdom's efforts to follow up on the implementation of the Amman Arab summit's resolutions.
