Jordan University among top 10 Arab universities

AMMAN — The University of Jordan (UJ) was listed among the top 10 Arab universities in 2019, seizing the first place locally, and the 9th place at the regional level, according to the QS World University Rankings.
A press release by the Centre of Accreditation and Quality Assurance, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra on Sunday said that UJ has achieved “outstanding results” in most of the criteria, ranking fourth in employment reputation for graduates, eighth in academic reputation, ninth in percentage of PhD holders and seventh in terms of the impact of its website.
Based on the evaluation process of universities’ programmes and graduates, the classification is meant to provide insights for high school students when choosing their universities.
