Jordanian project wins Arab Startup Competition

The Jordanian Draw It project was ranked first within the Ideas Track in the 13th Edition 2020 of the MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition (ASC).

The project won this regional competition after qualifying as one of the winners of the "Zain Initiative 4" competition launched by Zain Jordan through its Innovation Campus (ZINC), which in turn had financed the project.

The idea of the Draw It project comes as one of the solutions that can be applied in the field of education and dealing with children, according to a Zain press release issued Saturday.

The project of Dania Mubaiden, the Founder & CEO, had won in the Ideas Track within the 4th edition of the "Zain Al-Mubadara" program, which was held at the beginning of this year.

Winners of the competition, which was held in cooperation with the Zain Group, as the digital partner, the Community Jameel as the main partner and the Saudi King Abdullah University of Science and Technology as the innovation partner, were announced at the award ceremony held on Wednesday, via the virtual track on the Internet, and six winners were announced out of 53 teams who reached the semi-final.

This annual competition is designed to empower entrepreneurs and foster an eco-system of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Arab Region. while ASC encourages innovation worldwide.
