Over 2,000 applications received for Queen Rania education award

AMMAN — Association of Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education received 2,023 nomination applications, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday.
Among the applications, 1,770 were for the Distinguished Teacher Award in the 12th edition and 253 for the Distinguished Principal Award in the fifth edition.
The Distinguished Teacher Award was launched on October 5, 2005 by Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania in collaboration with the association on the occasion of teacher’s day.
