PSD director receives Australian, Chinese, Turkish ambassadors
AMMAN -- Director-General of Public Security Department (PSD), Maj. Gen. Ahmad Faqeeh, on Wednesday, held separate meetings with the ambassadors of Australia, Miles Armitage, China, Pan Weifang, and Turkey Murat Karagoz.
Faqeeh and the ambassadors discussed ways of enhancing joint cooperation and exchange of police and security expertise between the PSD and public security agencies in their countries.
Maj. Faqeeh said the PSD is always open on the expertise of friendly countries in various areas of the police work in order to develop the performance of the PSD's units and staff through exchanging know-how and training.
The ambassadors hailed as "advanced" the level the PSD has reached and said it enabled the department to safeguard security and stability and face regional challenges during the past few years.
They also commended the relations between Jordan and their countries and said they welcome more cooperation and exchange of expertise with the PSD.
