QAIA receives over 722,000 passengers in October

The Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) received 722,792 passengers (PAX) in November 2019, resulting in a 10.4% rise compared to the same month last year.

According to figures released by the Airport International Group (AIG), the airport saw 6,547 aircraft movements (ACM) and handled 9,335 tons of cargo, registering a 6.1% and 1.9% increase, respectively.

Between January and October, QAIA received 7,636,388 PAX, effecting a 6.1% increase compared to the same period in 2018.

Meanwhile, year-to-date (YTD) ACM amounted to 67,813, represented by a 3.9% surge, and YTD cargo stood at 85,515 tons, recording a 1.3% decline.
