RHC launches Royal Jordanian Heritage website

The Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) on Sunday launched the official website of the Royal Jordanian Heritage (www.royalheritage.jo) on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of His Majesty King Abdullah II's accession to the throne.

The site, which is supervised by the Royal Jordanian Heritage Department at the RHC, aims to raise awareness about the history of the Royal Hashemite Heritage and to highlight all its components and depth in shaping the national identity.

In addition to the Jordanian Royal Heritage Platforms on social networking sites, the site is designed to be an interactive window to familiarize the public with the components and heritage projects in Jordan in the political, cultural, developmental, social, religious and military fields. It is a reliable source for researchers and interested people, where they can find rare documents, photographs and recordings.

The site also highlights the most prominent political milestones in the modern history of Jordan, and focuses on the political heritage side of the Royal Hashemite Court, historic palaces, royal tombs and Hashemite banners and emblems.

The site focuses on the cultural heritage of the Hashemite family, especially the literary and political works written by King Abdullah I, King al-Hussein Bin Talal, and His Majesty King Abdullah II.

It also sheds light on the history of the Great Arab Revolt, the establishment of the Jordanian Army, independence of the Kingdom and the most important political and military watersheds, especially the battles fought by the Arab Army on national soil and in Palestine.

It also deals with the military development of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, such as the establishment of the King Abdullah II Center for Design and Development.
